At Dedham VFW, we are dedicated to advocating for the needs of veterans and their families.
The Veterans of Foreign Wars testified before Congress urging lawmakers to "Honor the Contract” made with America’s service members. When Americans join the military, they agree to defend the nation at great personal risk. In return, the country promises to provide health care, disability compensation, and support for veterans and their families. The VFW called on Congress to protect these earned benefits, improve access to VA care, and pass legislation such as the Major Richard Star Act.
